Switching payments from test mode to real money

1. 01Claim your Stripe account

   Create a Stripe account (or sign in to an existing one) and take ownership of the test account that was set up for this site. Confirm the verification email Stripe sends you.

2. 02Complete Stripe's go-live form

   Verify your business (legal name, address, date of birth), add the bank account you want payouts sent to, turn on two-step sign-in, then review and submit.

3. 03Add the Lovable app to your live account

   Once Stripe approves you, install the Lovable app on the live side so this site can create real checkouts and manage your three products.

4. 04Live keys get created automatically

   Nothing for you to do here. Live payment keys and the payment notifications this site listens to are set up for you after the previous step.

5. 05Run the readiness check

   Open the Payments tab and run the readiness check. It confirms your three products, prices and payment notifications are all correct on the live account. This is the only step still outstanding.

While in test mode you can place practice orders with card number 4242 4242 4242 4242, any future expiry date and any three-digit code.
